KRISTY & KYLE

We’re in love with this bride’s wedding style and attitude! (She is the master of pulling off a relaxed, stress-free, and mind-blowingly gorgeous destination wedding.)

Kristy and Kyle got married in Punta de Mita, Mexico, at the luxurious private residence Casa China Blanca. These two planned their wedding entirely from Chicago with the help of their planner, Miroslava… they had never even been to Puerta de Mita! The wedding weekend was beautiful beyond belief and the venue, with its infinity pool and ocean views, white flowers and lots of candles, was both understated and jaw-dropping.

Stunning as the venue was, the gorgeous bride couldn’t be overshadowed. Asked about her wedding gown and dress search, Kristy said: “in theory, I didn’t want a wedding dress, I just wanted a beautiful gown you could wear to the Oscars!” Kristy wore a glamorous sheath dress with beading from BHLDN that fit her like a glove. She selected minimal accessories in order to let the gown’s beautiful beading shine, wearing her grandmother’s engagement ring on her right hand, a sparkly comb and a birdcage in her hair.

Kristy wanted her earrings to be somewhat delicate, but wanted something that made more of an impact than simple studs. She selected the bk&leo infinity earrings for their simple elegance, and since the shape of the earrings matched a lot of the shapes in the beadwork, they felt like a complement to the dress without being too much.

When asked about her favorite part, Kristy responded simply “it was such a wonderful day overall and a unique opportunity to feel a lot of love from your friends and family.” Congratulations Kristy on your “Oscar moment” and cheers to the happy couple to a beautiful, fun, long and healthy life together!
