Section 1: Information Collection
bk&leo, Inc. (“bk&leo”) is the owner of any information collected on bkandleojewelry.com website (“the Website”). bk&leo may collect information from users at several different locations on the Website. When you purchase something from us, we collect the personal information you provide, which includes, but is not limited to, your name, address and email address. When you browse, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. We use this information in order to respond to your requests, to customize your shopping experience and to properly communicate with you.
Section 2: Consent
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, place an order, arrange for delivery or return a purchase, it is implied that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no. If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information at anytime by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Section 3: Security
Our commitment to you, our valued client, when you visit bk&leo, is to provide you with an exciting experience, great customer service, and most importantly, privacy and security. To respect your privacy, we guarantee that any and all information you are providing will remain strictly confidential and safely stored. We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.
None of your information is used for any commercial purpose. All information, including addresses, phone numbers, e-mail addresses and order information that is given to us while placing an order, is done via secure submit server.
Section 5: Data Storage
Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information and its service providers.
QUESTIONS AND CONTACT INFORMATION
Returns: We accept returns of unworn jewelry within 14 business days after you receive your jewelry for store credit. Shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable. If 14 days have gone by since you received your item, we unfortunately can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. We are unable to process a return/exchange until we receive the original item purchased.
Exchanges: We only exchange items if they are defective or damaged. For an exchange, the customer is responsible for the return shipping fee, as well as any insurance charges associated with shipping. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your return item.
If you have returned an item, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your item. Once we have inspected your item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your returned item for credit/exchange. If you are approved, your returned item will be processed in the form of a credit code that may be used as an exchange for another bk&leo item of equal or lesser value, but you will not receive a refund to your bank account. The credit must be used in 6 months.
Only regular priced items may be returned, unfortunately sale items cannot be returned or refunded.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your item. Once the item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the order shipped to the purchaser and not you, we will send a gift credit to the purchaser.
bk&leo offers free repairs for jewelry purchased within one year. All shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer to and from bk&leo. Please note that repairs are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and additional charges may apply. Warranty for repair is void if the item has been altered, sized or repaired prior to being sent to bk&leo. Allow 6-8 weeks for all repairs.
Terms & Conditions of Sale
Many online orders are made-to-order. Due to the unique, customized nature of bk&leo jewelry, please allow approximately four weeks for orders, depending on the piece or collection. For rush inquiries, please contact bk&leo at email@example.com.
These terms and conditions apply to your jewelry purchase from bk&leo. By placing an order and/or accepting a delivery, you accept and are bound to the terms and conditions of this agreement. This agreement may not be altered, supplemented, or amended by the use of a purchase order or any other document unless otherwise agreed to in a written agreement signed by both you and bk&leo.
Credit Cards through PayPal
bk&leo accepts the following credit cards:

Applicable state and local sales taxes will be charged to all sales where bk&leo has a physical presence. Currently this is Illinois. The current sales tax rate is 8.00%.
Orders placed do not constitute a legal contract until bk&leo ships the jewelry. Terms of payment are within bk&leo’s sole discretion, and unless otherwise agreed to by bk&leo, payment must be received by bk&leo prior to bk&leo’s acceptance of an order. Payment for the product may be made by credit card through PayPal. Your order is subject to cancellation by bk&leo, at bk&leo’s sole discretion. bk&leo is not responsible for pricing, typographical, or other errors, in any offer by bk&leo and bk&leo reserves the right to cancel any orders resulting from such errors.
All prices and availability are subject to change without notice. Occasionally, we may have just sold an item which you ordered, and have not had time to take it off our site (or it may have been in your shopping cart). We apologize for any inconvenience, but we will contact you to see if you would like a substitution, special order, or just a cancellation.
Signature Required for Delivery
We require a signature for delivery. This is regardless of any waivers you may have with any shipping company (FedEx, UPS, etc.) These requirements are for your protection and will not be waived by bk&leo.
Shipping Charges; Title; Risk of Loss; Taxes
Shipping and handling are additional unless otherwise expressly indicated at the time of sale. Title to product passes from bk&leo to you upon shipment from bk&leo shipping facility. bk&leo will not be responsible for any physical damage to any shipment if it is not inspected at the time of delivery and damages or suspected damages are not clearly noted on the carrier’s paperwork at the time of delivery. Loss or damage that occurs during shipping by any carrier is your responsibility. You must notify bk&leo within 5 days of the date of your purchase if you believe any part of your purchase is missing, wrong or damaged. Unless you provide bk&leo with a valid and correct tax exemption certificate applicable to your purchase of product and the product ship-to location, you are responsible for sales and other taxes associated with the order. Any quoted shipping dates are estimates only.
When you place a special order, you have committed to the item. Please note that special orders are outside the scope of regular production and are both non-refundable and non-exchangeable from the time the order is placed. Special orders may only be canceled within 48 hours of being placed.
Limitation of Liability
Any express or implied warranties, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement are disclaimed by bk&leo. bk&leo does not accept liability beyond the remedies set forth herein, including but not limited to any liability for product not being available for use, lost profits, or loss of business. Except as expressly provided herein, bk&leo will not be liable for any consequential, special, indirect, or punitive damages, even if advised of the possibility of such damages, or for any claim by any third party. You agree that for any liability related to the purchase of product, bk&leo is not liable or responsible for any amount of damages above the amount paid for the applicable product.
The parties agree that this Agreement, any sales thereunder, or any claim, dispute or controversy (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, whether preexisting, present or future, and including statutory, common law, and equitable claims) between you and bk&leo arising from or relating to this Agreement, its interpretation, or the breach, termination or validity thereof, the relationships which result from this Agreement, bk&leo’s advertising, or bk&leo website shall be governed by the laws of the state of Illinois, U.S.A., without regard to conflicts of laws rules. Any actions, regardless of form, arising out of your transaction with bk&leo or the Product must be brought within the applicable statutory period, but in no event more than one year from the date of purchase of Product.
We strongly encourage selecting optional insurance (1.5% of cost of product) to protect your purchase. As stated above, we are not responsible for loss or damage that occurs during shipping by any carrier.

Once items have been fulfilled and shipped, it is in either FedEx or USPS’ hands to get your items to you swiftly and on time. We request delivery confirmation from USPS once packages have been delivered and that serves as our official notice that our products have successfully reached their destination. After receiving delivery notice, we are not responsible for missing items.
We do not offer shipping to P.O. Boxes or Saturday deliveries. We do not ship outside of the United States.
Lost or Damaged Packages
Once your order is picked up by a carrier, we are not responsible for damages or delays in delivery time. In case of a lost or stolen package, we will immediately file a claim with the mail carrier.
